For patients or physicians in self-isolation, Alberta has replaced the 03.01T, 03.01S and 03.05JR Health Service Codes (HSC) with one NEW HSC 03.01AD for providing advice via telephone, email, and videoconference including virtual care. All diagnostic codes (ICD-9) are applicable – but use ICD Code 079.82 or 079.8 for COVID-19 consultations if you can.
