A Sherritt Remote Medical Office Administrator/Receptionist will efficiently complete any assigned Administrative/Reception task as directed and agreed upon. Sherritt remote specialists can provide a couple hours a week support or full-time task management. We are local, experienced and promise continuity of services.

Sherritt strives to be a long-term solution with only a 30-day termination notice and 10 hour per month commitment.
Duties and tasks include but are not limited to:
- Reception
- Email/Voicemail Management
- Linking documents to patients charts in any EMR or CHR
- Managing referral letters sent and received;
- Callback’s;
- Schedule bookings – new or existing patients;
- Confirm bookings - new or existing patients;
- Appointment follow-ups – existing patients;
- Schedule existing patients who have not been in for a time;
- Manage patient information- as per clinic directive;
- Fax documentation;
- Virtual clinic management
- CPSA/CPSBC/CPSSK, MB, ON, NS... clinic and physician contact verification;
- Follow up on failed fax transmissions (fax reconciliation);
- Create, sort, maintain documents for lab, diagnostic imaging, hospitals, pharmacies;
- Internal EMR documentation of all work completed, either on patient chart or answering tasks
- Transcription of dictated chart/encounter notes if requested and/or editing services for existing notes
- Create referral letters from the chart notes and fax them to the specialist
- Medical legal letter creation with attached copies of clinical records when requested
- Consultation letters for specialists
- Insurance letters with attached copies of clinical records when requested

- Sick/off work notes
